Description

Unithéatre is offering a show for youth in a tour of Francophone and French Immersion schools in Alberta. In 2018–2019, the show named ÉLISE CONTRE L’EXTINCTION TOTALE (Élise versus total extinction) by Paula Humby

“In science class, Élise learns that planet Earth is warming rapidly that the ice caps are melting, that there are 16,306 species currently in danger of extinction, and this number doesn’t stop rising! She feels guilty, undignified and afraid. But what can she do to stop the complete destruction of the environment? With the help of her friend Amal, Élise begins her INCREDIBLE science project to save the planet from total extinction. She just needs to find the perfect plan … will she be able to save the planet? Or save her friendship with Amal? This is a mission impossible. But if Elise and Amal succeed in working together, anything is possible. A play discussing themes of friendship, teamwork and conservation of nature”
