Bursary recipients will still need to cover some of their costs. Aside from personal spending money (for snacks or souvenirs, etc.) there are two major costs that the participant has to cover: registration fees and travel expenses.

Each bursary recipient will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee to the host institution. in order to confirm his or her participation in the program. The registration fee is payable only when you confirm your participation in the program. Some institutions may have additional fees or require a refundable deposit. If so, your host institution will inform you when it sends you your registration package.

Participants also have to pay most of their travel expenses. However, if you are going to a location outside of your home province or territory, you may be eligible for an allowance at the end of the program that will cover part of the costs of travelling to and from the host institution.
