Description

During interactive and engaging gallery tours, students learn how Canadians have been affected by on the international and national stage. From walking through a recreation of a First World War trench, to peering through a real submarine periscope, students gain an appreciation of how advancements in technology changed war and impacted the lives of soldiers and civilians. Evidence of Canada's place on the global stage is highlighted in our informative exhibits, artefacts and photographs of our United Nations and NATO peacekeeping and peace support missions. Students become aware of the world's view of Canadians and how our military accomplishments have shaped Canada's identity.
