YOUTH REMEMBER CANADA’S MISSION IN AFGHANISTAN
The Canadian Armed Forces first deployed to Afghanistan in 2001. The mission has been a key part of what this generation understands of the world we live in today. Using the lesson plans found on this link, educators are encouraged to help young people become involved in understanding the mission and the role of Canada’s military in defending peace and security around the world.
