This Contest is open to all legal residents of Canada who at the time of entry are enrolled in a Canadian high school in Grade 10, 11 or 12. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. You will be required to upload a 750-word original essay, corresponding to the theme given that year. Essays must be written in French and never have been previously published, exhibited publicly or selected as a winner in any other Contest and only amateur authors are eligible. Limit one entry per person.

THE NATIONAL ESSAY CONTEST 2017 IS ON NOW! Are you a student in grades 10, 11 or 12? Do you enjoy creative writing? French for the Future is offering you the chance to put your skills to the test in the annual National Essay Contest! Reaching post-secondary education can be a daunting leap, but tuition fees can make things complicated. This is why we offer THE solution! Using your writing skills in this contest, you could win a scholarship! Speaking (and writing) in French can allow you to obtain a scholarship to help finance your post-secondary education! Be ready; it all starts now! This year’s Contest has over 250,000$ in scholarship prizes to help you reach partial or full post-secondary studies in French. Individual prizes, ranging from 1,000$ to 12,000$, are being offered in partnership with nine post-secondary institutions. Interested?
