The leadership courses Level 15 - Learn your Leadership is a course developed by the francophone school boards and Francophonie Jeunesse de l’Alberta in order to create opportunities for young Francophones to develop leadership skills. It explores several aspects of leadership, such as communication, teamwork and political leadership. This is a credit course and funded by Alberta Education.


FJA is responsible for the organization of the leadership courses, including the rental of the camp, training of the facilitators, food and transportation. According to school board policies, a chaperone may join the group.


The leadership courses level 15 is divided into 3 parts :

 Stage 1

  • North-East - Oct. 30th - November 1,  2020
  • Nord-Ouest - November 11 - 13, 2020
  • Central - November 20 - 22, 2020
  • South - November 27 - 29, 2020

Stage 2

  • South - February 12 - 14, 2021
  • Nord - February 26 - 28, 2021

Stage 3 

(as part of  Parlement Jeunesse de l'Alberta)

  • All regions meet in Edmonton – Date to be confirmed 

Number of participants

A maximum of 80 participants per year (20 participants per Stage 1)


3 weekends


There is a registration fee of $ 100 per participant, which can be charged to the school. The course is funded by Alberta Education.


Leadership courses are an unforgettable and educational experience for young Francophones. Regardless of life goals, or present situation, everyone can get something valuable out of the course!
