Why was this material created? Playing music in French in a minority setting is a challenge. Few know the songs and as musicians, all want to be appreciated and this appreciation comes from the public and its reactions. Think about it. When you go to a concert and after a couple of notes, you start yelling your satisfaction. Why do you do it? Because you know the artist and his repertoire. Well, that's what this material is used. Take 4 minutes and play a song. Or take 10 to 15 minutes and have your students listen to a song 2 to 3 times so that they find the words that are missing. And then why not study the message through the questions provided? Although based mainly on the vocabulary used, these activities also cover other concepts such as poetry, style and grammar.

Description

The group was created by a collaboration between a French teacher and his students and we have grown since ... We have been playing in schools for several years already. We offer schools  a show that is accompanied by a notebook of activity. We are a French-language music group of the Beaumont Composite High School, which includes young French-speaking musicians enrolled in the immersion program. Our goal is to spread French culture through popular music. I hope that you, teachers, can use our teaching materials without any difficulty and that your students find it interesting and relevant. We would love to go play this music for you.
