Les Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (RVF) is part of the events surrounding the Journée Internationale de la Francophonie (March 20), which is organized every year to promote the French language and its numerous cultural expressions!
During the RVF, Canada’s Francophonie is vibrant! More than 3000 activities take place each year across Canada. Community gatherings, multicultural meetings, ceremonies, shows, singing, theatre, poetry, film viewing, word games, contests, educational activities, essentially; events to provide an excuse to celebrate. The Canadian Foundation for Cross-Cultural Dialogue, the Language Portal of Canada and Canada Post invite you to take part in a French spelling challengefor a chance to win $1,000 worth of products from the Centre franco-ontarien de ressources pédagogiques (CFORP) for your class or your school! Other contests like the Grand défi entrepreneurial pancanadien are also available for all ages at RVF.ca.
