Free training camp on the online learning platform
Each activity of the training camp and the Can you Math? Challenge are linked to the specific learning outcomes of the Alberta program.
To enter the contest, teachers must register their classes in advance. The teacher and students will then be invited to create an account on the Netmath platform, if they do not already have one. This account is free and will allow students and teachers to enter the contest and the training camp. The competition can be completed on a computer or on a tablet.
The training camp is from March 20 to April 28, 2017 and the Can you Math? Challenge is from May 1 to May 5, 2017.
It takes at least one full class.

The Can you Math? Challenge is Canada's largest online math contest, with thousands of students participating every year! A collaborative initiative designed to promote mathematics learning in Canada in a challenging and fun environment. It is also an excellent opportunity to review the curriculum in joy and good humour, just before the end of year exams!
The contest is open to Francophone and Anglophone students aged 9 to 16 from Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and New Brunswick. The contest takes place online, on the Netmath educational platform, during class hours. It is therefore up to teachers to register their students to participate.
From May 1st to May 5th, between 7am to 4pm, students will take on the challenge of answering the most mathematical questions related to their level in 30 minutes! The competition is preceded by a training camp of 6 weeks allowing everyone to maximize their chances of sucess. Last year, more than 91 000 students from 1 645 canadian schools competed. So... readt to break the record?
