This activity was designed to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary, promote better understanding Canadian values and of the Canadian judicial system in both languages, while engaging and inspiring youth to use French. Therefore, there are links to the high school social studies program and French classes.

Description

Sommet des débats Canada 150 is a project to promote understanding of the values and history of the Canadian legal system and the contributions brought forward by francophone minority communities. This competition offers Albertan students from grades 10 to 12 a chance to debate various aspects of the Canadian judicial system.
