Description

It’s 2018, and yet we still have problems with homophobia in schools and educational environments.

Why are these prejudices sticking? How do answer questions from people who are less open with regards to sexual diversity? What stages does a young person go through when they are becoming aware that they are different and how can we help them?

These questions and several others will be the centre the training workshop about sexual diversity and gender orientation in school environments.

FJA presents a day of training and professional development for teachers and community members about the realities of the LGBTQ+ community. This training is offered in collaboration with the incredible Marie Houzeau, executive director of GRIS Montreal (Group de recherché et d’intervention sociale).

This training workshop is FREE and open to all. Coffee and cookies are included! Please register before February 12th
