Description
The Grande Prairie Regional ACFA is proud to offer the 2025 edition of its summer day camp: Franco FUN!
Program Description
This day camp is offered to children from kindergarten to grade six and will take place at École Nouvelle Frontière.
Entirely in French, the camp fosters the development of participants' Francophone identity. Through a variety of fun and educational activities, children will strengthen their French in a playful and engaging environment. They’ll also be introduced to healthy lifestyle habits through sports, nutrition workshops, and hands-on cooking activities. Creative projects will round out the experience, encouraging kids to try new things and step outside their comfort zones.
The camp is led, supervised, and coordinated by dynamic, qualified counselors aged 16 and over — all of whom are certified in first aid.
Camp Cost and Schedule
The camp runs on instructional days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: $120 per instructional week.
Location
The camp takes place at École Nouvelle Frontière.
Additional activities will be held in the surrounding area. Transportation will be provided by school bus, and campers may walk to nearby locations within a 20-minute radius under counselor supervision.
Meals
Meals are not provided. Parents must pack a cold lunch and snacks for their child. Occasionally, campers will prepare and enjoy snacks during culinary workshops.
Weekly Schedule
Each family will receive a calendar of weekly activities at the beginning of the camp session.

Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your registration, you may do so up to 3 days before the first day of camp for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 3 days before the start of camp are non-refundable.
