FRANCO FUN Pedagogical Day at ENF
The Grande Prairie Regional ACFA is proud to offer the École Nouvelle Frontière de Grande Prairie community a Day Camp during the 2022-2023 Franco FUN!

Program Description
The day camp program is for children in kindergarten through grade six at École Nouvelle Frontière.
The camp programming is entirely Francophone, which fosters the Francophone identity of the youth. The program will allow the acquisition of healthy lifestyle habits through sports activities, as well as culinary and nutrition workshops. A variety of creative activities will allow the children to have fun while practicing their French in a playful way. Each child is encouraged to try the different activities that are often unfamiliar to them.
All camps are facilitated, supervised and directed by competent, dynamic and experienced counselors aged 16 and over. They all have first aid training.

Families must be ACFA members to register for the Educational Day Camp. The cost of the annual family membership is $25 at grandeprairie.acfa.ab.ca/services/membership/.

Camp Cost and Time

Camps are instructional days from 8:30am to 4pm at a cost of $50 per instructional day.

You may choose longer camp hours from 7:30am to 5:30pm for an additional $15 per day.

Location
The camp will be held at École Nouvelle Frontière.

Several other activities will take place in the surrounding area and transportation will be by school bus.

Campers will be able to walk around under the supervision of the counselors within a 20 minute radius.

Meals

Meals are not provided. You must provide a cold meal and snacks for your child. Occasionally, snacks cooked by the children will be offered.

Schedule of upcoming activities

Each day, each family will have a calendar of activities in their possession for the entire camp period.

Items needed for campers

Mandatory indoor shoes and waterproof coat for travel;
Hat, mosquito repellent and sunscreen;
Snowsuit, winter boots, toque and mitt;
Bottle of water, cold lunch and snacks.

Your payment will confirm your registration and a confirmation will be sent to you.

Cancellation of registration

If you wish to cancel a registration, it is possible to do so up to 3 days before the first day. You will receive a full refund. If the request is made less than 3 days before the start of the summer camp day, no refund will be issued.
