By engaging youth in a parliamentary simulation, they explore multiple elements included in the social studies program, most notably is a democracy, functions of government and the basic workings of parliament. The event also enables students to practice French, specifically oral skills in a public speaking context and written skills. Finally, by interacting and engaging with Francophone from all the western provinces and territories, participants from all backgrounds will have the chance to network and gain an appreciation for Francophone perspectives in minority contexts.
Candidate application before June 30, 2020 and preparation of a bill before November 5, 2020

The Minister's work will be required in the preparation of a bill before November 5.
