Links with the curriculum

By engaging youth in a parliamentary simulation, they explore multiple elements included in the social studies program, most notably is a democracy, functions of government and the basic workings of parliament. The event also enables students to practice French, specifically oral skills in a public speaking context and written skills. Finally, by interacting and engaging with Francophone from all the western provinces and territories, participants from all backgrounds will have the chance to network and gain an appreciation for Francophone perspectives in minority contexts.

Candidate application before June 30, 2020 and preparation of a bill before November 5, 2020

The Minister's work will be required in the preparation of a bill before November 5.

Description

The cabinet is looking for rare pearls to be ministers during PFCNO 2020. This year, the parliamentary simulation will be held from November 5 to 8, 2020 in SASKATCHEWAN !!

Here's what you need to be a minister:

A picture of you;
A biography of you;
And an example of a bill!

The selection criteria are:

creativity ;
argumentation (it is very important that the bill is NOT perfect. It must have debate with the positive AND negative points);
The minister needs to be OPEN to changes. He needs to be able to accept new ideas from the firm and incorporate them into his PDL. He needs to work with the firm and have a good TEAM SPIRIT.
