The publishing house La courte échelle designed about 100 educational sheets for elementary and high school teachers to help them to stimulate their students in their reading experience in the classroom. The sheets encourage exchanges between their classmates and increase their understanding and appreciation of works. Books accompanied by educational sheet are varied, so they match up to the needs of children from the Grade 1 to 12. Activities books are linked to the Première lecture collection. These books are perfect for the Grade 1 & 2. The books in this collection are divided into three levels of difficulty. As the child progresses in reading, some aspect varies : the number of words increases, the sentences, and the layout become more complex.

La courte échelle was created over 40 years ago. Since this time, the publisher is specialized in children’s literature and their collection stimulates the imagination of children and their joy of reading. La courte échelle designed more than 100 educational sheets for elementary and secondary school teachers to improve their skills and give them a stimulating reading experience in the classroom.
