Description

For several years now, ACFA régionale d'Edmonton has been organizing the Franco-Albertan flag raising ceremonies in Edmonton, on the first Friday of March each year. Under the theme "Le ciel sera bleu, blanc, rose!", this ceremonial event highlights the past and present contribution of a dynamic and vibrant francophone society throughout Alberta.

Francophone and French immersion schools are invited to participate in this province-wide event, so that their students can demonstrate their Francophone identity or share their passion for the French fact. The Franco-Albertan flag is an important emblem of our Francophonie. This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate it and to show our francophone pride.
