Description

CHARACTER CREATION

How does one create an interesting character for a play? Thanks to acting, improvisation, physical expression, writing, and drawing exercises, students will learn to create dynamic characters for the stage.

COLLECTIVE CREATION

In this workshop, students will work together to create a show to share with their peers through acting, improvisation, physical expression, and staging exercises.

MOVEMENT

For those interested in or new to theatre, we explore basic notions of movement. Students will be able to find an authentic and relaxed stage presence by learning breathing and relaxation techniques as well as Laban exercises.

VOICE

This workshop is intended to give students the tools to strengthen their voice in a healthy manner as they prepare for a performance and/or speech. Through playful vocal warmups, stretches, games, and tongue-twisters, participants are able to let loose while they discover their individual voices.
