Synopsis:

Le Palier by Réal Beauchamp and Jean-Guy Côté

Nicolas, 20, and Julie, 57,  live next door to each other on the third floor of an apartment building. Through their continuous interactions on the landing, an unlikely friendship blossoms, strengthening with time. Nicolas is in the prime of his life and, unexpectedly, Julie’s life is close to its end. As doors of opportunity open and close, they become attached to each other without realizing it. A play that is bright and full of tender moments, contemplates loneliness, intergenerational relationships, and compassionate death.
