Requirements

Paliamentary outfits

  • For boys, a shirt with a tie and a jacket as well as nice clean pants and shoes (no jeans or running shoes).
  • For girls, a skirt that goes down to the knees or a pair of pants, a shirt or a non-neckline sweater, and a jacket. It can also be a dress, but the dess can not show the shoulders and must go down to the knees. Shoes can not show the toes, nor can they be running shoes.

Description

The Alberta Youth Parliament is a parliamentary simulation for all youth ages 16 to 25 from across the province. Young people will be able to debate fictitious bills in the Alberta legislature. It is an opportunity for youth to become familiar with the parliamentary system in Alberta, while learning to express their opinions.
