Description

Sabine Lecorre-Moore proposes a school workshop that combines the presentation of an exhibition of some twenty paintings from the Painting Alberta project* with the creation by each student of a watercolour inspired by the landscapes of our province.
First, she will talk about the project and the different landscapes found in our vast territory. Then, the students will learn a unique watercolour painting technique created by the artist. This workshop has been given in the past with great success, during the Sugar Festival, at the Fête Franco, at the CAVA Gallery, in francophone and immersion schools in Calgary and at the Alliance Française of Calgary. This workshop is for grades 1 to 12.

*Painting Alberta is a project started in 2017, which when completed it will count three hundred and sixty landscape paintings, for a 360 degrees view of our province.
